Bloom wants to make a positive contribution to a strong and safe community and recognises the right of every individual to stay safe.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable groups that we work with. We work closely with all our teachers, students & staff to ensure that safeguarding vulnerable groups is understood and implemented appropriately.
Any allegation, suspicion of harm or concern is taken seriously and responded to swiftly, fairly and appropriately by our Safeguarding Officer.
Bloom teachers and staff come into contact with children and vulnerable adults through the following activities: Yoga sessions and classes for groups and individuals. All teachers that provide services to vulnerable groups are required to have a full and current DBS certificate. Despite the fact that our teachers are independent and self-employed Bloom will take all reasonable steps to ensure that these certificates are maintained and up to date. If you are in any doubt you should ask the teacher to see their certification personally and you can also contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Our services will be delivered at our own centre and in other locations such as schools and other educational and community environments. These sessions will involve general contact with the service users, through the practices of yoga and other associated activities.
Whilst working in a school environment our teachers will be bound by the school's Safeguarding Policy.
The Safeguarding Officer at Bloom is Chelsea Baker - Phone: 07762 039 591 or email@example.com
